Its touch and go whether I am going to be able to make this now.

I can definitely get it to a point that it is drivable but unlikely to have the spoiler painted and a couple of other finishing jobs done.

Not sure if its better to bring it 95% finished or not at all...

Up to you that one buddy. I'd rather see it there but you might prefer to finish it? It's a social event mines far from perfect, covered in gravel rash.

Right then guys, we're in count down. The fabled flyer has come, so please have a little click of the image, save it and then print it off.

Do not forget to access the show via the "additional entrance" on the B3054, which will open at 8am. The main entrance will NOT open until 9am and is the public entrance.

I've had a a request from Formidable HQ to chat about some filming, be interesting to see what they are after.

Weather forecast is for sun so here's to a great show.

Guys can you stick me on the list? Unfortunately my 260 is far from ready but I'll be coming in the 350 Roadster!

Are you meeting in the Tesco's beforehand?

I'm happy enough with where I am on mine to bring it along, missing a couple of parts. Who needs a front number plate anyway!!

What Tesco and what time mate? Do we need to buy tickets now or can I buy them on the door?

Had a great day, the weather was splendid too. Only 3 x 280zxs this year, Huw and Dericks Zeds looking great and putting mine to shame (as usual).

It would be good to see a section at the show for pre 1990s cars. There were probably only a couple of dozen scattered about the site.

A few other older Jap motors caught my eye...

PS: on the way home the car was running a bit poorly... when I pulled into my drive you could hear the fuel pump squealing. :(

Great photos Ped!

Loved that Celica, the attention to detail on it was amazing. Front headlight panel was subtly painted with black glitter etc was a really sympathetic but modern looking resto.

Car of the show for me was this Starlet. Such a sleeper with a F20C S2000 engine. 0-60 in 3.4 seconds..... and it looks like your nans car!

Definitely needs more of a retro attendance though it's fun picking them out in the crowd!
