Under a grand ie the price I paid for the extra bits.

The NB is listed at 1040kgs so same as a 240Z with +10bhp DIN and no roof - should be fun.

Yes, they rot...so do Zs and I took time to find one that is clean and what wasn't was professionally repaired....and the car has just 52,000 miles for a yr2000 car - it's hardly been exposed at 2.5k miles per year and always garaged.

We had the Morgan stand opposite us at Rétroùmobile, Paris with the 'new' 3x wheeler on the stand so plenty of time to look over it.

Great fun but seriously over-priced - buy a kit-car, style Lomax :https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1319934

That's gone, wiring all finished and very pleased with it. So was the buyer who is going to rally it.

Liked that car a lot.

And I did. I also liked my trackday car and my standard very original 240. However you can't keep them all especially if you only have a tiny single garage. I have followed my cars after selling them and got great pleasure from their exploits with their new owners. I hope to do the same with this one, I've already seen the car in it's new 'barn' and under a cover. When I look back over the motorbikes and cars I've owned I would like to have them all today except perhaps my Rover 820 which was just 'family transport' but even that gave me good memories including a holiday in the Alps.

This was how the dash finished, with electrical components in the glovebox, a modern heater (with vent between the instruments) and a 260Z fusebox. Also Voltmeter with charge light, oil light (orange) and LED bulbs.20210325_155155.jpg 20210325_155231.jpg 20210325_122810.jpg 20210325_122753.jpg 20210329_215705.jpg

Mr2 roadster is 138bhp and 995 kgs. Mine goes well especially as I don't have pre cats, put on a TRD tubular manifold and it still passes mot with just the bottom cat. 1 min 29 seconds at Castle Combe for a car I paid £501 for.

Oh and as for rust, look out for rear of sills where drains come out, rear subframe by exhaust downpipe and the lower steering universal joint! All easy to fix!

So, aside from the 'field photo Rob on your ad in the classifieds, have you other photos to share of the 260Z for sale please ?

That's a solid advert there Rob, how much interest have you had or, a better question: how many serious offers?

"with Samuri ‘in period’ sold top mounts" typing too fast Mr Gaskin ;)

As you say, some improvements/changes to be effected by the next owner and if I may be sold bold (if it was I) :

swap out the wheels and mirror
fit stainless wiper blade holders and the front bumper
remove the spare from the boot

Just not quite sure of the bumper-less rear - just too much squared off for my taste....maybe needs a fibre-glass one lightly 'plumbed' in to break up the painted mass under the rear lights.....?

Not much really, not expensive and quick to do. Maybe a half, rear cage in case I get over eager in the bends
