not as narrow as you’d think. Even in ‘chubster’ state I fit in the seats Alan’s got in his 432r so as a yardstick, I’m happy.

it’s like having a nice dress that you always need to fit into.
Understood, I hope your accessories will match.

You're lucky then as our tractors don't do 9-5 at weekends and we have more than our fair share of cyclists especially upon the eve of the start of the tour de france.

So after going missing for about 3 weeks in Brexit postal jail(which wasn't fun), they've finally arrived.

I'm really pleased. I've not found anything that I'm not happy about( and I'm the type to find fault in anything I do).

A bit of a height comparison with a standard base gave the following

STD= 17cm(surface to seat base
Rail to lowest part of the mount, 6.5cm
Threaded drop through is 2.2cm

installed height of 14.8cm

REPLICA SEATS = 9CM(surface to seat base)
Rail 2.5cm
side mount rails 3mm

Installed height 11.8cm.

So Should be approx 30mm lower :) which is most pleasing. Given the standard seats once refurbed will 'squish' more, I think these should end up a tiny bit lower with weight on, or the same.

I'll work out mounting them and perform some measurements. If they're any higher once sat in, I'll remove the standard floor seat mounts and fit lower ones.
