not sure about the club event, more likely a 5am sunny Sunday B road drive! Realistically 2-3 years. Just in time for you to fit your ‘big carbs’

the good thing about early blasts is the the lack of tractors, its the cyclists trying to ride in pack formation 4 wide thats the issue

You're lucky then as our tractors don't do 9-5 at weekends and we have more than our fair share of cyclists especially upon the eve of the start of the tour de france.

I tried to. however it was actually impossible to get the right thing made here. people just weren't interested.

So after going missing for about 3 weeks in Brexit postal jail(which wasn't fun), they've finally arrived.
I'm really pleased. I've not found anything that I'm not happy about( and I'm the type to find fault in anything I do).
A bit of a height comparison with a standard base gave the following
STD= 17cm(surface to seat base
Rail to lowest part of the mount, 6.5cm
Threaded drop through is 2.2cm
installed height of 14.8cm
REPLICA SEATS = 9CM(surface to seat base)
Rail 2.5cm
side mount rails 3mm
Installed height 11.8cm.
So Should be approx 30mm lower which is most pleasing. Given the standard seats once refurbed will 'squish' more, I think these should end up a tiny bit lower with weight on, or the same.
I'll work out mounting them and perform some measurements. If they're any higher once sat in, I'll remove the standard floor seat mounts and fit lower ones.
