Seat covers?

It looks to me as if the bolster stitching is too far into the bolster area compared to an original? Just doesn't look quite right.

I will pull my old seats out tonight as I think my old car covers might be USEABLE. But cant quite remember...

That sounds like a fair price for a proper job.

Can they do them with red piping, orange stitching and 240z on the headrests?

Red and orange ? Are you sure on that contrast ? Well yes, whatever the customer wants but style police may have a word or two to say first

Sorry to revive an old thread but thought might be better than starting a new one, ive bought some covers off ebay and the stitching goes the wrong way which is a shame but will be better than the thread bear gaffer tapped holy one I already have.

What should I be looking at price wise on having the seats re foamed and the covers fitting please?

Ive had a look at the Interior Innovations site and see that do the new foams has anyone used them? But suppose they will work best with there covers not the ones I have. I am temped to return the ebay ones.

Any advice appreciated.

I'm so glad that I took the advice of @SeanDezart and purchased the covers and Mousse internals from Interior Innovations. I think my seats turned out quite nice and firm.

Do you mind me asking how much it all cost inc shipping and taxes please? Did you fit it all yourself? Thanks

Also how long did they take to arrive? Thanks

I had a look back through some emails and found these prices, which reminds me that I got a 10% discount, claiming to be in @SeanDezart club ;)

Front/Rear covers in black leather with silver stitching and silver Z logo = $650
Complete replacement front seat cushions = $315
Total before shipping = $965, after 10% discount $868
Shipping = $85
Grand Total = $953 shipped.

I guess I could have got cheaper but I wanted a higher end interior and have been very happy with it. Of course it's a bit cheaper for a 2 seater as mine is 2+2

I did fit them myself and I can't say it was easy but also not the most difficult either. Take your time and I'm sure you'll be able to achieve a great transformation.

Thanks Peato40, are you in the UK? Did you get hit with import duty/vat/handling fees etc? How long ago was that? Sorry for all the questions!

Did they take long to come? Cheers

Happy to help so please ask as many questions as you would like. Yes I live in Leicestershire. I ordered the covers in March 2018 and they only took 2 weeks for delivery, however it did surprise me to learn that they actually came from Pakistan. I didnt pay much if anything at all for import duties, however that maybe because the shipping papers suggested a very low value.

Seats and door cards back from trimming. Not quite as straight forward a fit as Interior innovation feedback suggested. Leather really good quality but issues predominately with the seat foams I bought the same time, still very pleased with the results :)
