So hold it elsewhere..........should have kept the patent for the event instead of letting the Toyota club sell it to Greenwood (we started the bloody event with a mix of goodwood and the summer camp) and then The Z club would be getting money from every punter :) !

We could ambush Derek's do at Mansfield but that would cut an event out.:(

Why do you need all these'events' to attend like sheep in a pen ? Get out and organise outings.........in public - don't be shy, five or six cars is enough.

Or do people need to be static so that they can quaff huge amounts of alcohol in safety to justify a good time ?

Red with Rover V8 was another car - magazine featured and (as far as I know) still hidden away in a garage up in Great Yarmouth - built by Graham Potter who worked for the magazine printers. See also link to old Z Club T-shirt designs.

It's the spring or summer 1992 issue. There are pics of it in front of the Pleasure Beach roller coaster. Worked with Graham for a long while before he left here many moons ago. Great bloke. Apparently the car has sat in a garage, at Graham's old man's house rusting away for the last ten years (According to our delivery driver fella, could be / most probably just hearsay). I'll put them up if I find the mag (it's the oldest one I own).

Often wondered what the point was - just for 190bhp when an L28 can give you that on 240Z carbs and a better exhaust manifold..............

toyota club never sold it to greenwood the facts are t

I did the last one that was organised by carclubs and at the meeting after the event with various club reps no one wanted to do the next one and it was not going to happen and to keep it going it was taken on by the organisation

The thing had grown to big for doing in spare time and no wonder no one wanted to do it
that last one took seven months of my time doing stuff on it every evening and to my that is far to mush of anyone's time to spend on organising an event

You should never have let it get to the stage where one person HAD to di it all ! Delegation - you take (took) too much upon yourself !
