I had the cars out for a drive today. Love um!

Anyway my blue car looks better now I've fitted some chrome trim in the front and rear screen rubbers. It's not OEM but plastic from here:

eastkenttrimsuppliesltd

It's a bit of a pita and best fitted in hot weather.

Happy though!

Do you have any close up pictures Rob? Do you have a link to the actual item you bought? I've been thinking of putting some on my blue car.

John, this is the rear one:

I'm struggling to find the front one on their site. It was more expensive (about £22) because it's longer and comes with the top corner pieces in stainless steel.

I'll get some pics for you. I was sceptical about bending it around the corners but it worked fine (on a hot day) apart from one corner which has a little rippling.

I'd recommend it for your blue car.

A great improvement Rob!

It appears they are based just up the road from me. If that's of any use to anyone then let me know.

What size wheels / tyres are those on the blue car!? They look great on it.

On the blue car the rears are 215/60/15, front 195/55/15 (mainly to clear front valance). I think the rears could be 55 or even 50 tbh - but I'm never going to wear them out to try!

Chrome trim - I've gone back to take some close-ups and have noticed that some of the corners have developed ripples since fitting. However I would still recommend this item if original trim in good condition is not available. It still looks good. I have sold so much stuff (or given it away) at cheap prices because I thought I'd never need it and I don't have storage room. Good rear window trim is one thing (when I fitted a fg rear hatch to my trackday car). 2.8 engine, S14 gearbox, rear hatch, front wing, etc etc are other things!

Don't sweat it Rob, they look 100% better than the chrome-less look!
