Hello chaps, I have had a 1972 RHD 240Z since February.
Car had been dry stored since around 1997 so has taken some work to re commission it!
Started with getting it fired up, the original coil went up in smoke, by passed the cars fuel system and changed the coil and cleaned the points and actually got it going! Only on 3 cylinders mind!
Then went through everything fuel related and got it on all six and sounds great now! had to send the tank off to RE NU due to the ethanol and rust in the tank tried cleaning it out but couldn't just kept filling up the extra fuel filter I put straight out the tank!
Went through the brakes changing most of the hard lines and fitted uprated rubber lines! Replaced the clutch master ,slave and hose!
Got everything working and she is now MOTd, taxed and road legal.
It will become for sale pretty soon as I need to fund my rallying!
