What value would the name have now days? Or how could you use the name to 'add value'?
The name clearly has value or yourself and others wouldn't get so wound up by it. As for adding value maybe ask Duncan Pearcey or The latest purchaser of OML 10K.

I don't get wound up by it. I see the value on the historical cars.

What would you do, build new cars as samuris? So start a new line of them? Sell hogged out heads, with a stamped invoice so you could say you have a samuri head?

Frinkly, really...!!

Get over yourself. Honestly, move on and leave the bitterness behind....

Its a little harsh. I have zero bitterness just a lack perception.

As before I see the value with the older historic cars.

Genuinely how would the name in todays market/new builds add value? or how would you use the name?

Been out in it today - call it a Samuri, call it a Datsun, call it a 260Z - it just brings a smile to your face just like they all do!

I went about 500 yds (no kidding) looked in my mirror and a passenger in a burgundy S12 was filming the car from his phone! That's what these cars mean to people.

Recent publicity from magazines and SEMA cars etc means that the S30 is recognised by a lot more people now than just a few years ago. Whenever I take the 240 or 260 out they aren't just great fun to drive, they really turn heads - it's fun watching peoples' faces and especially little kids who see this old fashioned, noisy sports car in front of them. It makes my inner ten year old grin! Lots of people take photos. I dropped my daughter off at a big pub in Brentwood High Street last year and there's always a crowd there. You get the usual mob of M3's, Rangies, fast Audis and Mercs so I took the 240. It's nowhere near as fast as those cars but it looks and sounds pretty tough and it's a shedload more exclusive. All the lads were just gawping at the car. My daughter turned to me and said "Dad, you're such a child." Well.. guilty as charged and I was laughing all the way home!
