'samuri' motor company, selling more than just mugs

I remember it well as it was about the time I bought mine in the US and I was on the ‘net most days searching like crazy. BaT wasn’t the site it is today and had far fewer auctions back then and it stuck out. A guy from the Midlands bought it I think. I also think it was up for sale by him for just under £60k about three years ago as the model got more popular …

Nice cars, but slightly unrealistic asking prices. Very early production, 100% correct and/or exceptional unrestored condition cars might fetch big money, but the two cars being sold here are fairly late, relatively unremarkable and (one of them at least) 'backdated' restorations to lose some of the Federally-mandated HLS30U/UV safety update measures.

I like the rare red interior/white exterior combo though.

The ex-Bring A Trailer car *might* be a 'commission' sale with asking price dictated by owner? Just guessing.

Interesting; didn't realise that was quite rare. My project 240Z was originally a white ext/red int car. Of course, over its life it got resprayed red, then dark blue, and the red interior got partially resprayed/dyed black. And will ultimately end up 907 green with black interior! Quite the journey...

Silver with a red interior also looks good IMO.

There's only the one car being discussed here Albrecht, there aren't two of them.

'Samuri Motor Company' currently list THREE cars for sale on their website:

*1973 White Auto HLS30UA @ £89,500
*1973 Orange HLS30U @ £60,000
*EAW 944l 'Super Samuri' 240Z ex-Win Percy @POA

I'm talking about two of them.

Anyway, we've already discussed this white 240Z elsewhere on this forum.

The other two are, no doubt 'dépôt-ventes', that is being solkd on behalf of their owners.....maybes Albert is right about this white one too......unfortunately we've not yet seen one 'new' Samuri leave the premises whether that be in the trad. livery or stealth.

All 3 are great cars and expensive.

If money was no object which would you have?

I’d buy a proper fairlady ZG.

Well, we all want something that 'nobody' else has.....or maybe just our heroes !

I wanna race - getting the car is just part of it, having the budget to run season after season is something else......so I'm starting another Z race-car project - with a subtle difference ; it's only money and you can't take it with you.:)
