41 names, including 15 Samuri on the list for the Saturday parade lap..!!

Can I just remind everyone that to be involved in the lap, you will need to buy an entry ticket to the event.

Tickets available here:

Huw & I will be travelling up on the Saturday morning via m5 & m42 if anyone from South Wales or the Westcountry would like to join us. Possibly meet up at Strensham services near the m5/m50 junction around 8ish?

Forgot to mention Kevin & Fiona Kay will be there in his 370Z And will be staying at the Cedars for the duration of the event
For those newer members Kevins dad who is now 93 owned one of the first 2 Zs in the UK and Kevin remembers his dad driving onto the drive with it when he first picked it up

Kev not going in his 240 then Porky
Its still in his garage in bits after he decided to restore it again a few years back ( not sure why though as it was still in good nick)
He had it stripped and dipped but he does not get the time to complete it.

Jonathan - it looks like I won’t be taking the red car. I’ll be in the 240z JRO541K instead. I’ve changed the registration for the club pass. Is it possible to change it for the parade lap? Sorry to be such a pain.

No worries John, I'll sort that, thanks.

Just has a message from MSV to say that we are going to be parked up on the Grand Prix Loop in the Paddock area and not on the Infield as per previous years. We will be with a limited band of exalted company as we are with the Jags and Mercs OCs. :280Z::angel: With 50 odd cars the Zeds will probably take up most of that space - as long as the weather holds!!

Thought you'd be pleased about that Paul as we don't have to go under the circuit on the rough track now ;)

One thing I noticed, it says "Gates open at 7:00 each day. Display vehicles for the GP Loop must arrive and be in place no later than 9:00am"

Looks like an early start for most of us !

Ecstatic! My suspension is heaving a huge sigh of relief. :hurray:

It was going to be an early start as it was but it will have to be even earlier now. I am seriously thinking of staying the night before now but I would suspect that most of the accommodation will have gone. There are a few campsites nearby so I may have to take the tent:eek:

is that the loop where they used to have the rally car display circuit that is on the outside of the track
Yes Steve. Jonathan was approached and asked for a second opinion from me. I think it has lots more positives than negatives. It's has far better access, no dust or mud, close to the paddock and catering, close to a covered grandstand, close to Redgate corner or the chicane and far better for track access for our parade lap.
