Rubber Seals Around 240z Doors !

Hello,

I need help with pictures of 240z door rubbers . Mouldings that are meant to be attached to the door ends or any other place around or under, over the door please.

I think the 240 door just has a rubber strip under the door a a small rain deflector at the front. Sorry, no pics.

The 260 door has much more and is not compatable with a 240 shell.

Door weatherstripping is pretty much the same on 240Z and 260Z. Later 260Z has rubber in the top frame rail.
What falacus really needs is a close up picture of the point of entry of the rear of the frame into the door shell where the joint is covered by a rubber piece It requires particular fitting that is hard to describe unless you can see how it is done.
Lots of cars out there have this simple part missing!

That piece is quite well covered in Wick Humbles book (on restoring 240z).

This is how I fitted mine, I hope they're correct as they didn't seem to want to fit any other way!

Yeh, they are the same as mine. As JP said - there is one on the underside of the door too that I assume sits against the 'kick strip' when the door is closed.
