Round-ported header for square-ported engines en Ebay

I'm all for competition - keeps us on our toes and the customer wins but....basically fraud ought to be highlighted !

The above header, basically a Zcar parts part :

and is conceived for round-port heads only - see the gasket !

You can fit square headers to round ports and open up the flange metal some but the other way around don't cut it

! It's dishonest, worse - it's ignorant....from a 'specialist' !

This is something I have never considered before so just to be clear. Most performance exhausts manifolds will be square ports then. Are all yours square port or do you produce both types? If square port manifolds "work" with both head port types then it's a bit odd that someone has produced a manifold that's just for round ports.

I only produce square-port headers beacause 90% of the population improce engines with square-port heads !

**needs spacers upon which to fix the inlet-manifold - does the flange warp ?

But it's ok - I asked these questions :

"Why does the gasket have round port-holes when the 240Z and 260Z have square exhaust ports ?

I can't see any photos of the port side of the header - are they round or square please ?"

And I received this answer :

"The runners are larger than the ports..."

Q.E.D : No-one has produced a round-port header for square-port heads !

Well, it's ok :

"The runners on the manifold are round. As I said, they are larger than the square ports so there is no shrouding."
