If they look good ,that's good enough for me.the classic car world is full of copies in one form or another.

When Rota brought out the BM8 there were countless people smack talking them, complaining how they are blatant rip-offs of Hayashi Streets. Yes, they are blatant rip-offs of Hayashi Streets, but at the same time no-one seemed interested that Hayashi Streets are themselves blatant rip-offs of Campagnolo 40802s...

@jonbills; lol - Maybe it's just me but it seems to be quite a leap someone has made to say this was a depiction of the first wheeled vehicle! Looking at that it could be anything, first TV antenna perhaps!

I just picked up a set of those hayashi streets and they are gorgeous! 8.5" -6 and 10" -25. Now I've the joy of finding tyres that fit and getting the suspension/arches sorted

Nice! That's unfortunately the biggest issue with small diameter wide wheels these days, finding tyres that fit. The choice is definitely very limited!

Nice choice! - let me know what tyres you find as I'm currently searching for a couple Techno Phantoms in 8J / 8.5J so will probably be looking for 205/60/14 up to 225/60/14 tyres for the rear!

I'm more than likely gonna end up with 225/50/15 for the rears and 205/50/15 for the fronts

Any issues with them and what you go for in the end?

I went for Toyo R888's in the end, only real issue was trying to get them on the 10's , the first went on second go with the cheater the other took 6 goes, I had to give the tyre bloke some beer money:cheers:

there's a bit of stretch on them but noting stupid . the old tyres went on easier, i think the R888 has a stiffer side wall

Any side on pictures that show the stretch on the 10s?
