Very nice! What's the torque like? Can you post the dyno sheet, would be interesting to see the power and torque curves.

I only have a power/torque graph from its 1st runs with the misfire and the one power graph from today without it

We now have a new rr result from my 6 legged friend ........... 372

So its found +71hp with the correct map !

But now I need to go buy an uprated clutch or plates for the spare hks clutch I have
Clutch started to let go so end of rr play

Still it drives miles better and pulls like a biatch now
Job done

Happy Dayz !!!!

What did it turn out to be ?

Excellent news. Now what is that dip all about which starts at 5200 revs, is that graphical evidence of clutch slippage?

This must be scarily fast now and it will bring even more grins once the clutch has been upgraded. Torque has got to be in the 400lbs.ft

Not only does it look the part but puts out the power too, you done anything special to the engine cooling?

From what I rem on the drive back its now slipping at 3.5 upto 5k
If I don't boot it its not so bad
Dunno what the true torque is untill a new clutch is fitted
Will then maybe take it to a local rr just for a power run

No mate, fitted an alloy rad and a few elecy fans (all from ebay) else stock
Doesn't get hot either so should be ok
Fans are a bit pants mind so will uprate them at some point

hmm might have to hold that order and go for plan C ... what ever that might be
Got a call back 10mins after placing me order ... no RB25DET twin plate exedy clutch's in stock till November
Will know for sure tomo when they call to confirm
So might just see about buying the hks plates n using that
Exedy twin plate clutch is £1500, not cheap but I just want to fit and forget
Hks plates are about £120 each. Just not sure about its other parts as I think the type I have has been discontinued ?

That's the price you pay. I had a 900lbs competition clutch on my rally Mazda 4x4, it was either in or out, no in between but fantastic off the line (or traffic lights if you prefer) !

Still trying to get used to that clutch as its either on or off so not my best buy lol

Anyhows back to the rollers again today after a change to the turbo elbow aswell

Best was 407 fwhp and settled for 406 to be safe lol
With the map/boost now set right it drives and pulls much better

Very pleased :)
