Rod Bearings - Purchase tips and advise

I need to get a set of connecting rod bearings for a 1973 240z. I don't know what size will be needed until I get the old ones off.

Has anyone gone through this process and can advise me on :-

What brand to get. I see Clevite; ITM; ACL offered. Any others preferred?

Where to get them from. I would prefer to source them from in the UK . I see ConceptuaTuning sell a set of 12 (Clevite) for £70 but this seems a bit steep. The Clevite brand is sold by RockAuto for £12 a set ! (...plus cutoms/postage of course). Any other place in the UK selling them at a reasonable cost?

Any tips and guidance gratefully received.

I think the main thing to lookout for is trimetal rather than aluminium.
can't help with UK supplier, I always buy from Rockauto.
