It’s a GS31 JDM FairladyZ 2by2 that’s had a few of its JDM details changed, NOT a 280Z. See the hole on the front wing for the fender mirror, plus it has a one knob rally clock - JDM correct for the period. Engine bay VIN plate looks like a JDM one, plus it has the small bumpers.

Would’ve looked more like this originally:

Old import from Japan, probably via serviceman owner.

So the white car shows a Turlock location in the ad ( about 2 hours from me) but the narrative says that the car is in Hayward (SF bay area).
I messaged the seller to see if he has a Cali title for the car or just import paperwork.
