He does say in the ad that it has had quite extensive welding ... no paperwork, which means it is only good for parts. I think it just depends how good those parts are. RHD conversion, roof, doors, bonnet etc. There is no tailgate by the looks of it.

Would definitely have an interesting tale to tell though if it could ...

so its ID has been used on another car? so its £2.7k for a roof and some slightly rusty doors?

Isn't the VIN stamped into the firewall though? Maybe it still is but there is no record of it anymore and hence no paperwork. Sounds like it might have been bought without any paperwork years ago.
