Replacing brake pipes

The subject says it all - MoT test has required a complete change of the brake pipes, and I am not looking forward to doing this.

Has anyone done it?

Can one avoid dropping the rear suspension / subframe ??

I know this is a nasty job as i've done the hole set on my 240 before, I haven't done a 300zx but think the task is much the same you just have to remove one at a time then size and make each pipe and refit each one to the car. Try if you can to work round the rear suspension units you may have to lower parts to get the pipes through smaller hands the better.
