Remote control problem 370z nismo 2016

Just changed the battery in one of my remotes and it will not open the doors via its buttons. It does however allow me to gain access using the door button and will start the car. Any ideas?

I've used cheap non-branded batteries and had problems in the past. What did you buy?

I use Duracell now and not had a problem since.

Edit: and just to say, there is no need to reprogram the fobs so it is very likely to be down to the age / quality of the battery.

Thanks for the information. I just used a cheap Panasonic multi pack battery. I did however swap over the battery from my other unit, which is working, and it still didn't work.

I'll buy a Duracell tomorrow and see how it goes. It not that I'm using the car at the moment in this awful salt ridden weather.
