Regular Northern Z Meet - 4th Sunday of every month

Ok, so on the success of todays Scarborough meet, which was arranged at very short notice, but had quite a good turn-out, I'd like to propose we use the same location, for a regular Z meet. It's reasonably central for most of us in the North East, as was proven today by some of us from South Yorkshire attending and some guys from the actual North East attending too. Also, the food was good, it's next to a Shell station and if we're there on a non-bank holiday, we could even have a drive out, as the traffic will be better.

So, I reckon the 4th Sunday of every month would be a good day to hold the meet. That would place the next one on Sunday 22nd September, which is nicely the weekend after JAE and the weekend before Jap Show Finale at Santa Puddle.

Show of hands if you'll attend please and opinions on whether you'd attend regularly or not.

Looking like this one is cancelled this month. Too many cars gone off the road for winter already and various other commitments. We'll try to get a feel for next month in a couple of weeks I guess.

shame I only just saw this id definitely be up for a north Z meet can you pm me the details of the location? for future reference.

Hi Craig, I'll pm you as well in case you don't see this, but for everyones benefit, we're switching the location from month to month, around the northern area, in an attempt to try and draw more people from a wider overall area.

So, one month it is in Scarborough in North Yorkshire, the following month it might be in Sunderland, or somewhere similar, the following month it might be in Sheffield or Worksop in South Yorkshire, etc. This way, we hope that

a) it will keep peoples interest
b) members who may be too far away for one meet, will manage to make another that is closer to them.
