Rear Number Plate

Guys

Does anyone have a square rear number plate that actually hooks into the bottom of the number plate mount. I believe the hooks are for the US size plate.

My plate dips down behind the bumper, is this the same for every one else?

My local motor factors did a new reflective rearplate for me for the recent MOT, it was their standard "square" size, 280 x 200 mm high. I needed to cut a 5 mm deep notch about 25 mm long across the top at each corner, and it fitted no probs on my '73 car.
