Rear Drum Brakes

Hello All,

Anyone know where I can order a set of drum brake adjusters? Mines are completely seized so can't get the handrakes working.

Any advice appreciated!

you cant get just the adjusters afaik, but for most years you can get complete wheel cylinders for reasonable price from rockauto.

Thanks @jonbills

Okay I see, so the adjusters are integral to the wheel cylinders? On mines they are separate components.

not so much integral, they separate easily and you could imagine them being sold separately, but I don't think they are.

A picture would paint a thousand words.
Is it for a 240Z
Do you mean the arm or the adjuster cog.

And they are also on my late UK 260z too.

They are handed - I have a left one but the right adjuster but was worn, so I tried to take them apart and make a good one but the thread is left handed on one side.

They do come up on eBay - rarely though and I picked one up for £65!.

One side on mine was completely seized, but a lot of self penetrating oil, patience and aggression / persuasion released it. Try to save what you have.

Thanks for the advice guys.
Going to do my best to save the ones I have whilst searching for something better to come along.
