I've been looking at spot lights and fog lights...
My 240Z came with Lucas 20/20 lights and I want to change them.
Many 240Z rally cars seem to have different light covers, but I've seen some early works cars with Cibie, Hella, Carello & PIAA.
Being a Triumph fan I know that BL were sponsered by Lucas, but often used Carello lights with Lucas covers to hide them.
Do I go Cibie or PIAA ?

Cibie were almost the universal lights when I was rallying. 2 Oscars low and 2 Super Oscars high. Cibie are common on ebay and also SIM make reproduction (Cibie copies) lamps. Super Oscars (9") may not fit in the radiator aperture on your car.

Oscar+ lamps are worth considering. They are like headlights i.e. a main and dip filament. They would give useful extra light on dip and also provide back-up if a dip filament blew on your headlights. Changing Z headlight bulbs is not something you want to be doing on a rally.

I have a few Lucas lamps ha ha.

Strange. Nissan's factory works rally team 240Zs used KOITO spots & fog lamps.
