Radiator recore

Hi,
This is my 1st post in 6 yrs of being a member & own a Z.
I have a small leak on my early 260z original radiator. I was hoping to keep it original looking
I have just had a recore quote of £370.00 + vat, does this sound about right?

From memory I think mine was in the region of about £260 + vat and that was for 3 cores (place in Cumbria near Carlisle).

That is too expensive. I had a 'high efficiency' core in my trackday car and it was £120 but that was a while ago.

That does sound expensive. I have been quoted £200 in the past.

Have just joined the forum today after becoming 260z owner, I have 30 years motor trade experience and have had many classic car radiators done by Colchester radiator in Essex have all ways had a 5 star service

At that sort of money you are better off considering one of these new ones especially the 3 cores ...
