R35 gtr

I think the R32s are a great car, but not a fan of them.... the R34 is the best of the older cars, the looks and the engine.

R35 is a completely different animal, but since I have owned one for 5 years and R34 has always been on my list, its a good option.

Good for you Graham, glad you can keep and enjoy her further

I was at Batallion30Five's Christmas meet on Saturday in my neighbors R35 and there must have easily been over 50 R35's. There were even some cars running 1200bhp, I'm sure it would have been right up your street.

I'm still in amazement every time I get the opportunity to be taken for a spin in that car

There are quite a few of them running that sort of power.... I dont see it being that useful on track, but still so impressive what these cars are capable of.

So.......

Car was out at Silverstone over the weekend, track conditions were not great, but was still a little bit of fun at the end of the year.

GTR finally went in for a detail... Christian (at Invisible Touch Detailing) has done a fantastic job, as you can no doubt tell from the photos below.

They look good in red. And after the detailing, it's even better. Bet it cost you a small fortune to get it detailed...

That looks fabulous ! As Franky said there are some great products out there now, do you know what brand of products he uses, also was it waxed or did he use that product where it will not need rewaxing for a very long time, sorry I can't remember what its called now (ceramic coating) ?

Yeah looks superb now :) Love it!!

Not that expensive considering the what I do with the car, it is definitely not a garage queen.

Not sure on what products he uses, but there is a serious layer of sealant on it, it can be polished, but no harsh chemicals.....

I have let this disappear as I wasn't ready to sell the car, but as of the middle of July the car will be available and ready to go :( It will be a sad day to see this go, as I have owned the car for nearly 6 years from brand new and had an awesome 50k miles in it, but as some of you may know, I made some big changes in my life over the last 12 months. The next big change is moving out of the work I do completely and going travelling :D I will be starting in Japan (with no real plans to come back to the UK in the near future) and of course will be sending some cars (and parts if people want stuff) back, but in the meantime this needs to be sold.

It is a brilliant example of a GTR, for the spec and setup is just about perfect! Not much has changed in the details above, mileage will be around 53k once I am back from Romania and spec of the car remains the same (the R888Rs and alcons are obviously on the car as well Pagid RS29s).

The car goes in for a service next week Tuesday, then I go to Romania as the final drive in the car on 1 July for 10 days and once back the car will go in for a full detail with Christian - then she is ready to go!

Wow, yes some huge lifestyle changes.

So will the 240Z be sold too?

I hope everything works out for you - you only live once so if you need to scratch an itch.

and yes it also means that all my other cars (240z and escort) will be put up for sale in the not too distant future

Hi Rob,

Yes big changes, lots of them! I was originally going to keep the 240z, but realised I had no idea if or when I would be back and also if I sell here, it means I can buy one out there and use it.

Thank you! Its more about seeing the world and getting out of IT

GTR sold..... couldnt even watch the new owner drive it away :( but it has gone to good home, owner will use her for what she was designed.

Id love to, but I have no idea if I will be coming back to the UK. GF doesnt want to come back here, so having money tied up in a car in storage is not worthwhile. Besides, 1st stop for our travels is Japan, so who knows what I will find when I am over there ;)
