Propshaft work and reccomended companies

Hi.

Whom can you reccomend please to supply a modified and balnced propshaft for a 200SX gearbox conversion ?

Either who supplies new or modifies a self-supplied propshaft ?

This for a French friend of mine who can find no-one capable in France or that charge your right arm !

Many thanks in advance for your help and shared experiences.

What no one in the whole of France does prop shaft work?? Really?? Fair enough.

I used a company in Bristol - HJ Chard. Used them lots of times. You can drop off the car and bits off or just drop the shaft off. Just remember to measure form the dif flange to the centre of the joint on the prop at the gear box end once mated to the gearbox itself. That bits important that the joint is pushed in as far as it goes in to the gearbox. That's what they advised me when measuring up.

Jw engineering in bexley Heath. They have made several for me. Generally, a new prop made from all new parts is around £250. If someone can get me the correct length then I could get it made for you Sean.

Firow Propshafts in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. £40 to have a Z prop cut down, balanced, and painted. Something like a Z prop is small fry compared to some of the industrial level stuff they do. Not sure how much a custom prop would be, but they'd definitely be willing and capable.

I used dave mac too for new ujs on my old prop.
To be fair, there were no problems with the prop I got back.
The experience of dealing with them was quite poor. I would recommend bailey morris.
