I’ve got a few mates who drift, run ls engines and beat on 300zx tt rear diffs all day. They don’t often fail them, but if it does at any point they are cheap to pick up, easy to service and bolt straight back in. Going to need to have custom drive shafts made to take the power.
Using Apex engineering rear suspension to dial it all in. 10.5j rears which will be matted to toyo R888r’s.
so is that an r230 then?

Managed to adjust the original gear stick to fit the updated short shifter for the 350 box, will probably leave the gear selector boot off so it can all be seen as I like the CBF performance billet part.

Been a busy old year. Finally got the apex engineered crossmember on. Really good fitment with it mostly. But have been missing few nuts and bolts from the packs which is a shame considering the price of it all. Also had to fab some extra engine plates to double up so I could pull the engine forward enough so I can run the gear stick dead centre. Also got the short shifter installed, cut down the old original plastic bush and chamfered it to fit so I can use the original gear stick and wooden knob. Have cut the small ball end off the stick to fit in the hole then it’ll be tig welded back on. Just the one thing with apex which is a disappointment is their customer service, so slow at replying especially where I’ve had issues with parts missing, also going to have to adapt the front 4 point strut brace as it doesn’t fit the turrets, we’ve measured mine and they’re 2-3mm out from original distance, the strut brace has elongated holes to fit but it’s not anywhere near so will have to speak to them about that too. Get the rest of the small welding bits done..then it’s on to making the manifolds 😁

I am running front and rear control arms from Apex. They also missed some bolts on one of the orders but were quick to send replacements out at no cost (obviously) and I avoided any additional VAT charges as they marked value at $5. They do seem to be a small team and often get swamped with orders impacting communication but can say I have been happy with the product and the car drives better for them!

If it helps regarding the fitment issues I have had issues with Techno toy tuning strut braces not fitting perfectly, think it is a byproduct of our cars being so old and the tolerances not being as tight as modern-day vehicles.
