Photos needed for 2017/18 Calendar please

[FONT=&quot] Had a message from Chaz[FONT=&quot]L regarding [/FONT]photos for the [FONT=&quot]2017/18 Z Club [FONT=&quot]Calendar[/FONT] that he needs as he wants to try and have locations as well as the Zs in it

I thought it would be a more interesting event for Z Club members to participate, if we suggested a theme for the 2017 Calendar photos.

[FONT=&quot]To be precise a number of themes or backdrops rather than just featuring photos of Z cars.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Hopefully, Z members will rise to the occasion to drive their cars out to some interesting and challenging locations and I would suggest offering a prize[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]of a framed enlarged print for the best photo. All decisions final by the ZClub committee.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Here are the suggested themes:[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]1) Aircraft: inc Airfields, Hangers, runways, control towers and of course that sublime photo of ones pride and joy next to that “iconic” plane. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] (Good excuse here to take a breakfast trip to somewhere like Goodwood) [/FONT]


[FONT=&quot]2) Bridges: inc Dams, Canals, Rivers, Streams, Fords, Harbours, Estuaries, Reservoirs etc. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]3) Zzzzss... and Stadiums. Famous Rugby or Football clubs in any division. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Maybe some might enjoy having a shot at all three.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]I think this will make for a very enjoyable 2017/18 Z Calendar. All entries in by December 20th.[/FONT]

All over this now my car is nearly done and on the road.

I vote option 2 which will be easier to do by 20th Dec based on ease of getting to places.

Count me in to a Goodwood breakfast morning though as I am pretty local.

We could have the photo competition without the calendar? I don't have any use for a paper calendar these days.

Do the photos have to include the suggested location ideas?

I've recently got some nice sunset photos in more rural, coastal locations however they wouldn't meet the requirements. The pic in my signature is one from that day, if your at all interested then let me know and I'll send some over.

Ironically I meant to get some yesterday at the Goodwood breakfast meet however I got distracted by the swarms of people and attention the car was getting :lol: By the time I left I had completely forgotten.

Hi Everybody.
Thought your photos Woody 928 were classic. Your 4th photo with the harbour background fits the bill precisely in the catergory No2. Bridges, Dams, Canals, Rivers, Streams, Fords, Harbours, Esturies and Reservoirs etc.

However. Being the pragmatist. I would be perfectly happy to include anyone of such super quality photos of your lovely Z as you have portrayed. The themes are merely suggestions to help make the annual Z Calendar a bit of fun to not only enjoy, pictorially, as each month progresses but equally an excuse to wake up one beautifully sunny day and drive ones pride and joy out to capture that once in a while, brill photo.

Or necessarily maybe driving back from or to a weekend away, you round a bend and "BINGO" there it is. A stunning creative opportunity in the making. I look forward to the 2017 Calendar being one of the best yet.

I really should have backed up further for that harbour photo to eliminate the benches however I really shouldn't have been there in the first place so thought better of it.

Let me know if you want me to email over RAW copies of any of those pics or the one in my signature and I can get copies across. Definitely need to lower the front looking at those pics! :eek:

Not being picky,just asking a valid question,so it's late then,not getting it ready for next years calender then,are they for sale ?
