Photo gallery

hi there . firstly appologies to the owners of the 6 photo's that I have just accidently lost. I have been set the task of administrating the photo gallery by fatboy burns and in my first learning session I tried to be too clever. Could you please resend them so that I can add them to the new albums. Could anybody that has submitted photo's without a caption please email me with the details of the car ie name of owner and location etc so that I can add this to the photo in the album. just a question - why 2 galleries? The Z32 one (in which is my pride and joy) has no upload / caption facility.

Seems a bit odd to have just the Z32 split out like this?

PS I know everything is new and will take some time to settle down so this wasn't a dig - just a question which is not particularly urgent.

Think I should answer this in Bens place the reason that only 2 gallerys are showing at the moment is that Martin set up the Z32 gallery to show how the system will work.
What happens is that every body loads on to the general gallery and then Ben will make separate gallerys ie z32,z31 280zx 260z, 240z and then transfer photos into relavant gallerys
It was only chance that Martin choose the z32 for the example gallery
As we develope the site questions like this could be entered under the faq section but as all things it will take time and the more questions that are asked the more information can be passed on to new users of the site

Would it be easiest just for me to upload to the Your Photos gallery as if it were a new posting - and then Ben sorts out galleries in the normal manner. (Well it's brand new but in the fullness of time will become boringly normal <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> )?

hi all &nbsp; I will be setting up various albums and trying to put relevant photo's into each one &nbsp;as steve said &nbsp;240,260,280 300 etc if you post photo's onto the your photo's page with a description or email them to gallery@zclub.net then i will slot them into the appropriate album. &nbsp;remember to put a short description with your pride and joy so that you can take the credit for your car!!!.If there are any photo's from the various shows that the club attend then I will start an album for shows. the same could go for local group meetings. I will try to keep the albums small enough to be user friendly so there may have to be several.

I just tried to upload a picture to the gallery and got

Error: Unable to make thumbnail (0)!

I've been huffing since yesterday when I realised my loverly 240Z and 260Z had disappeared from the gallery, huh! <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':angry:'>

But I'm OK now.

ok guys &nbsp;we seem to be getting over the problems thrown at us with the gallery. Have a look and let me know if your car is in one of the albums and without a caption or description. If so please email me the photo number and caption to go with it and I will add it to the pic. Some of the pics have had to be deleted as the quality was a little bit low, ie bad light , out of focus etc. &nbsp;cheers &nbsp;ben
