Although probably having done so, the ghost buyer probably doesn't know what he missed, thinks they grow on trees and has probably bought an MG 'cos his wife thinks they're cute and they might have the top down 2 weeks in every year.

Waved good buy to this one yesterday. Been useing the car all week and clocked up quite a few miles. I will miss this one but at least I have some funds to get on with the others. Managed to get all the little jobs done on the car before it went so Ray gets a pleasureable start to zedding. It's his first and a really nice guy so I was happy to let it go for good price. I didn't lose any money on it and Rays got a really good deal so everyone's happy. Plus I had the pleasure of using the car for the last few months.

Better edit your Z list above then! Just out of interest, where did you advertise it - or was it word of mouth etc? I often wonder where is the best place to advertise these cars ...

It was on ebay a while ago. A few people were interested in it and contacted me. A local guy came and looked at it and asked if I could keep it for him untill he came up with the money. He seamed like a nice honest guy so I've kept it for him for the last 5 weeks. I've not really tried to sell any of the others as I don't need to part with any. I have told someone from Leeds that I'm not advertising any and he has been trying to get down and look at a few for a few weeks now. I'm not bothered if he doesnt buy one as the price I've given him is a bit low but if he comes down next week with the money I will let another go. It's the green one he probably wants so I havn't done a lot to it other than drive it most days. Now the orange car has gone I've room for another car at home so I'll get the blue car back to being usable and start driving that one.
The painter has become too busy to finish the white car so I'll probably get on with preping that myself.

I'm half hoping he doesn't buy any as I've plans for all of them. The only thing holding me back was space to work on them. That may well have changed now as I've talked myself into renting a factory unit that will house all my cars/sports and have room to work on them. I'm going over to the unit this morning to pay the money and as long as it hasn't been rented already, I'll move in this week.
It's been great using Terry's place but he is getting a bit too full and I could do with somewhere local that I can work in the afternoons and evenings. It's only 10 mins from where I live and clean dry roads right to the unit. It's a fare lump of money a month but no one said hobbies were cheap.

John, I did the same thing this week as well. My mechanic moved next door from a shop at 1200 sq ft to a shop at 2500 sq ft. I get to store 4 cars there and a work bench for my tools, use of two lifts too. It will be so nice to have my Z's all in one place and the ability to work on them as well. Congrats on the sale of the orange car.
