Let me guess - the one you sell is better?...

    Funny that. :p

That’s the newer redesigned LegalisR, which I seem to recall tucks up better than the older one. And the older one can be made to tuck up okay with a bit of playing around with the rubber hanger lengths.

But you're not funny.:( Think a little further.....;) Not 'better' (I didn't even mention mine !) - different - can there not be several solutions to the same issue.....or should we all drive around in Model Ts ?

Mine tucks up above the floor reinforcement rails - wanna guess why ?

So what you're saying is that it's been fitted to this car sloppily ?EXTRA;)

Don’t worry Sean, just poking fun! You do have “skin in the game” though so aren’t exactly impartial. Then again, neither am I as I have a Fujitsubo system and am a JDM fanboy!

Everything on the said car is super nice but would swap the steering to the right side where it belongs. :p

The exhaust is very tight if it’s the new one. Or would the spend ¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥’s making a new system that was going to get knocked off. if it looks low, its more than likely because its not got the manifold it was designed to have.

    agree about the headlights.

going back, it’s a bloody nice car with just a few personal mods away from being tip-top

Tight ? It's lower than the floor reinforcements....that makes it very low, so perhaps you're right and it's not been fitted A1 !

Ah, ok - just not sure why my impartiality is in question because I said a competitors' exhaust line it should work fine with a competitors' header ?

Yep - so who's gonna guess how much - c'mon, a bit of fun - who cares if we're right or wrong ?

    I've no idea. 37$k

someone has taken a cheap header and fitted it to part of a system designed as a package.

Am I missing something here, it doesn't appear to have any centre boxes.[IMG]

I was just about to say, it doesn't look like the new fujitsubo at all. I even went to the garage to check.

Is that a crime then ?:)

When the header and line are sold seperately.....surely the sellers' intention IS to sell them seperately implying that the line might be fitted to another header and the header to another line - simples.

The L24 engine on twin SUs was dyno-ed with this header at 247hp - even allowing for those to be DR ponies, that's 'not bad' so working well. What is the ID of the Fujitsubo headers' primary pipes ?

Looks to me as is the line has been bastardized with twin straight-thru pipes welded in where the new line has the resonators....

I'm not sure what the 'line' is?

The exhaust on the auction car looks like a one off, the silencer doesn't follow the fujitsubo joins/routing. i'm not sure how a 'low' compression motor makes that much power. Downhill dyno maybe.

Still a lovely thing from over the pond.

Great looking car and kind reminiscent of my silver one. If I was to change anything then id change everything to make it look like my silver car but the car is also great as is. I built my silver car to be exactly the style I like ie: simple fibreglass bumpers, simple fibreglass front valence to resemble uk factory one, tidy engine bay with minimal wiring/pipe work, factory suspension arms, and perfect stance (center of hubs line up with lower body line.

My silver car is built as a driver so tatty but fully sealed and rust free RHD converted car. This one looks to be way above mine in fit and finish but has a similar look.

sold for 50.5$k. or £39.5k. which I think is a fair price for it, neither too much or too little.
