Ok, now I've decided to keep a real spare in my 240z (thanks for previous comments) ...the spare looks like the tire is a gazillion years old !...so needs replacing (ACA159 - is that a date code ?)

I'm running Yokohama 205/55/R15 on my Rota's ..the original spare is an Avon 185/HR14.

Roughly measuring the outer Diameter, the current 205's are about 60cm, whereas the original spare in about 65cm ...

Anyone know of a smaller size tyre I could get for my spare that would make it closer to my 4 Yokos? ...guess it's the profile that needs to come down...but to what ?

I think you'd need something like a 195/65/14 tyre to closely match your others.
