Looks like even they got the front indicators in the wrong place and the side repeaters up side down.

yeah there was a few issue with the panel fit as well . I didn't know that only 1600 240z were reg in the UK and is that right only 54 on the road today !!?

Think there might be more than 54 as over the last 10-15 years there have been some nice rebuilds but then again we never see one on the road,Only 999 260z coupes were shipped over here not sure about the estate version but they are probably even more rare.
The 240 in question you’ll find a few things that are wrong,Considering it was done by a so called Z specialist I’d have thought they would’ve got everything right

I'd be happy with it.

I wonder how accurate the performance figures are?

0-60mph in 8 secs.

I've also seen quoted a 1/4 mile time of 15.8sec. I can't imagine a standard car doing that.

My standard 260 did the quarter in 15.2 yeah the 0-60 time ive seen it out down as 8 seconds but that’s the same as an rs turbo escort,I reckon my old rs turbo was a bit quicker than a standard 240,The Z in question had a few things that werent correct on it when I see it in the flesh but Who cares anyway was still an ok car

To be fair, that car has done a lot of Nissan Press Fleet work over the years. Many of the people let loose in it would have been less than 100% sympathetic.

Yes, some of the details are not correct but would be fairly easy to remedy. The wheel choice could be better, but the decision to fit triple carbs well after it joined the Nissan UK fleet was a bit of a headscratcher for me. Doesn't really represent how the cars were sold new, which - I would have imagined - would be the target for a press fleet car?
