Best way in jon for you is straight along the A 13 past tower bridge turn right but can’t remember the exact name,I’m up there almost everyday in my van,You have the congestion charg which is eleven quid then another 12 quid I think it is for the emissions charge so that’s. 23 quid before you’ve started yer car up

you don't have to enter the congestion charge zone if careful, if the car is a registered classic there is no emission charge either. I go to this office for work as well so been a few times

It’s a lot easier for me to head straight through London and I used to drive into the west end every day but haven’t done so since 2003. £11 sounds fine and much better than the trip around the m25.

I've sent PM's to the two confirmed cars, they have little space hence slot restrictions, each of the employees are bringing in interesting cars. Sorry they want S30's, 280zx's and 300zx's to look at.

I will try and make it on the train. As I'm away for work now it's better I close it off today! unless there is any other takers

I wonder what will be their " interesting" cars?

And what a turnaround from when the whole conversation started on this topic. Looks like they may have realised that there are other models outside the 240z bubble !!!

I'm planning on catching a lift with johnymd because I have to work in London tomorrow morning now. So how may cars are coming?
  1. Robbie J
  2. johnymd
  3. Gasitup (nissansportz)
Anyone else?

I know someone else who can come and either bring their car, or jump in with someone else who is already driving.

I didn't go as my new boss dropped a flipping meeting on me, they were still there at 7:30!

Not sure they got inside so they may go back

I just got home. It was a really great meet!

We didn't get to look around the secret bits but we've been extended an invitation to come back for a proper look round as a thanks for turning up in our cars (which were pride of place).

I'll post pics tomorrow.

Huge thanks to Johnnymd for the ride through that there London!

Driving into London's West End along the A13 or A127 - what fun that must have been every day.

'FOR MASH GET BONZERS' (a sign I use to see on the Arterial in the early 70s when I was about 10 - lived in Basildon then, for my sins)

Friend of mine was one of the senior designers at Nissan in Paddington until he retired about 3 years ago. He has a lot of classic modes of transport, cars, campers, motor bikes, mopeds, canal boats.........

Has he got any old Nissan's...as they penned some cracking designs back in the day ?

Don't think so. He's more into British cars. He finished at Nissan but worked for several manufacturers over the years, all over the world.
