Hi, I am in the process of changing my mild steel exhaust on my Fairlady 2/2 to a z story one, but once I had removed my old one the silencers and rear pipe work is in good condition. In fact it's a Nichira exhaust so wondering if it was an original or oem replacement.
The downpipe doesn't look the same quality and unbranded and after the 2 to 1 join its pipe is smaller than the rest of the Nichira exhaust. Down pipe about 40mm bore, Nichira exhaust closer to 48mm ID. (for comparison, the z story is about 60mm bore).
I have sprayed it with vht black paint to arrest any surface rust but apart from a few minor dents from use, it's in pretty good condition.
Anyone able to guide me on a selling price for it once I'm happy with the new one? I may list it. It's a 2+2, 2/2 style but could be shortened as required.
