Seems a bit low Toopy

I'd check around under the seats etc.

If you find a couple of quid under the eat you might want to up it to £20

Coming together slowly now.......

I will be putting the windscreen in hopefully tomorrow after work if I can get over there in good time.

Wing mirrors still to go on too.....

Final touches to the bodywork now.....

Overall it is around 90% in my opinion...

Not a show quality finish but very decent!

Especially considering the state of the car beforehand!

Hehehehe.

Fair enough the arch flare seem to fit okay on the body arch, however the arch profile looks a bit odd.

One thing I am not happy with it the fibreglass headlight bucket holes do not match up exactly with the adjuster screws, but they are still accessible......

Just a thought worth mentioning....

Although I do have a genuine set of datsun early 240z buckets that I could get painted to fit on.

Perhaps the headlight bowls have been changed. On my first Z they were both for the same side so the side screw was inaccessible on one side!

No, the headlight bowls are different.

I think it is the fact that the buckets are fibreglass that they are slightly off.

Not an issue, but you can notice it if you are looking for it.

Just because they are fiberglass it doesn't mean that they are not original Datsun ones. Some were fitted with fiberglass from the factory.

The ones on the car are quite standard aftermarket ones tbh, and are not the best quality, but are still what is widely found on the marketplace. Not terrible quality, but not perfect.

I do have a genuine set of early 240z fibreglass buckets spare, and they are immense in quality and thickness!!! Very heavy too!!! I need to set some new studs in them as I had not had time to do it as of yet, and then I can have those as spares. The original studs had been snapped so I drilled them out. I just need to put new studs in.
