Hey Don, it has come a long way. Fair play for you sticking with it. The interior would make Huggy Bear proud, and if it floats your boat - go for it. What you really need to complete the look is a period correct body kit! Something like this... EXTRA:D

Almost ready to rock n roll then Don. I hope it goes through the MOT ok. :coolgleam:

Hahahahaha!!!!

That is brilliant!!!

Love the colour too!!!!

You must be quite good with photo shop!!

I also noticed the pimp my ride sticker....

Hahaha...

Fiddling about with and cleaning connector blocks this morning.

So far I have got all of my turn signal and hazards to work except for the rear left.

The rear left running lights and brake lights work....

But I can not get any power to the rear left turn signal/hazard light from either the turn signal or the hazard switch.....

Any ideas???

I believe I am looking for a green/red wire?

Found the reason why the hazards were not working.

Also fixed the rear right speaker at the same time so now that works too.

Brake lights now not working but there is power to the switch.

Fuse was suspect, but also found that left brake bulb of the dual filament bulb was broken. Not sure if this would cause both not to work???

Anyway, after all that, all of the loom is back in the car and the centre console is back in place and the loom is back in place under the dash, and the loom is back in place down the drivers side over to the rear lights....

And then, I finally moved the car under its own power tonight for the first time! :).

Heheheehe!!!

Brake lights fixed.

Turns out both filaments for the stop lamps were broken on both of the dual filament lamps but the tail light lamps were fine. ><.

Changed the fuse also.

Should be getting carbs rebuilt and setup tomorrow.

Car was running on 3 cylinders only, only rear carb was working......

So no MOT today.

I will see if I can squeeze it in tomorrow.

Found that the front inlet needle to the float chamber was stuck closed.....

This is what happened after I refurbished it and put it back together.

20+ years of not running on that carb....

Loooooooooooolllll!!!!

It calmed down and is not smoking any more.

Really strange thing is, it actually ran and idled smoothly as if nothing was wrong with it, only runnkng on the back 3 cylinders, but stuttered when wot was applied.....

The car is much better now.

:).

They are in the holes.

I think it is just the way the guy painted the panels.

Not the best finish....

><.

Not really too happy with it tbh.

But looks very good from 1m away.
