Also am I okay to assume that this black wire that use to connect ip to the outside of the distributor can now be left unconnected?

Thankyou in advance.

This wire I am holding in this photo was connected to (a small resistor/capacitor looking thing on the side of the distributor.

I removed the capacitor/resistor thingy on the distributor, and now that black wire that I am holding is left unconnected.

IIRC the coil negative wire is black, the coil positive is black with white tracer, and the ballast resistor wires are green with white

Thankyou Jon.

I wanted to make sure and not try to start it and cook the coil.

If anyone has phoyo’s of their setup still taht would also be great! :).

Can someone please identify these wires for me please coming from drivers side footwell and coming from stereo.

I would love to know if they connect up please.

Coming from the loom in the footwell there are 2 loose wires: 1x brown, and 1xblue both with bullet connectors.

Then there is also a loose plug in the same place with 2 wires going to it:
1x green with white stripe, and 1x red(may have white stripe).

Then I have 2 wires coming from the stereo which looks like the speaker cables:

1 black, and 1 black with red stripe.
