Just wanted to say hello and thanks to the forum. I own a 85 turbo z31. It sat for 3years in a garage because the auto took a dump on me, i always wanted to change it to a 5speed. People i know kept telling me it would be to hard and i shouldn't do it and just put another slipomatic in. Then i realized how much it would cost to have a 5 speed swap done and it sat for 3 to 5 years. One day i woke up and couldn't handle it any more. I raised up, grew a set of balls, and went out to the garage. I jumped into fear with fear itself. Well i guess u can do anything if you believe in yourself. And i learned that i am the author of my own life story. All it takes is not caring what other people say and believing in yourself. You know how good it feels to tell people, (yeah its a 5 speed i changed it by myself) And the feeling you have after doing a job like that and then driving the car and it works perfect. Thats a good feeling, priceless!
