Hey everyone,

I’ve recently bought the below projects/recently finished build. It’s basically in need of final set up and some interior finishing, so pretty excited to get it on the road.

The car is a 1973 LHD 240Z, imported in from California in the early 2000s. Currently on triple Webers, Stage 2 cam, refinished heads, block and uprated valves and springs. Some other performance modifications to fuel system, distributor etc. Handling wise the car is on silver project adjustable control arms and BC Racing coilovers.

If anyone knows this car or it’s build, I’d love to hear it!

I’m also looking for a few other items and guidance to finish the car off.

- Centre console and ideally the switchgear for it.
- A good place either near York, or London, that you would recommend for chassis set up and a dyno run to tune the carbs.
- Any recommendations for a good set of interior carpets and fixtures

I could, and I’m unsure just yet- be keen to either swap the wheels, or buy a set, of Rota Grids in Bronze. (I’ll edit with specs)

Also I‘ve found a few parts places in the UK- Torquen and others. Is there a good go-to place for Z parts in the UK? I’m familiar with CorvetteKingdom as one of the go-to’s for my other vehicle, wondering if there is something similar for the Z cars.

Looking forward to being on the road!

Welcome. AIUI, Torqen hold no stock and just place your order with US suppliers and forward it to you with a mark up.
Conceptua do hold stock, but you can get a lot of what they have for less and faster direct from Rockauto in the US.
There's a thread somewhere with recommendations and opinions of suppliers (mainly US)

Z-services.eu, based in France is a good alternative. He holds stock which he gets from ZCarDepot and other places. Shipping is usually around £20.
