Just purchased a manual 280zx for some very few euros.

Some bodywork ahead though!

Any offers of body parts etc will be most useful.
Also advice and encouragement!

Stay well all and thanks for the add.

Thanks all! Nice to be here.

Bodywork is exactly under leaking T Tops.
I may just patch the areas or order new pans.
Also, she needs paint. Has had at least one respray in her life as engine bay and under carpets is blue but it's time for another.

Then brakes, tyres and suspension etc and finally, an engine rebuild/tune.

Pics to come, I promise. I started stripping out the trim etc but then the snow started and there's not enough light in my garage to carry on indoors. Yet!

I think so.
This is my first 'project' car.

One door has some problems and the floor pans. Otherwise I'm pretty happy.
It will 'need' paint, in so far as I want it to look pretty.

I've stripped out the interior now so I'll take some pictures tomorrow. I promise!
That way, you can all decide!

Where are you ?

I've seen this car for sale for a while and with black ZG arches fitted. I remember the price too ;) which I hope you didn't pay.:)

Well, now we've established that you didn't overpay lolEXTRA:D, firstly - where are you and to find such a such in central France car ?

Secondly, what are your plans ? Don't be boring and say 100% stock (ducks his head from 'the purists)....

Very glad I did a good deal!
I went and got it as I'm in the South East (Savoie) and had seen NOTHING for as seemingly good a price for months.

My plans are actually to drive it a lot for now.
I'll get it ship shape and fix anything that needs fixing so it's a reliable driver.

Then, when there's a bit more time and money, I will up the horses, improve the handling/brakes/ride and make the interior a really nice place to be.
I also want to go black/grey.

I'd like to keep it a six but don't mind if that's a swap or just a turbo for my hrspr gains.
Rebello 3.0 stroker would be the ultimate. They sound SOOO good.

Cheers

Hi all.

My windshield wipers arrived and do not fit!
Which do you buy? They were listed as adapted!?

The arm is a female for a 6.35mm pin.

The car appears to have some upgrades (I may be being a noob) and it sounds like it's cammed!?
