Previous owner was also a member I believe.

No responses or interaction, and moderators wonder why new Z owners don’t bother with the forum.....

OP, look forward to seeing it at a Queens Square meet soon all being well.

Hi Val. Welcome to the Club & to Zed ownership. I am also in Bristol - based in Downend. There are quite a few owners of S30s and S130s in Brizzy now so we might need a bigger venue than Queens Square. From my recollection there is another S30 owner in horfield near the TA place. Can't remember who it is though.

So what are you having done & who are you using to do it?

A few of us Bristol & westcountry based owners meet up at the JDM event at Castle Combe in June. Its mainly a 350Z club meet but it is open to Z-Clubbers. There is usually a mix of S30s and the newer stuff with a couple of 280ZXs from Huw and IanDecJak. The chap in Horfield I was thinking of was Geoff Gale but I think I have also met Richard before. If its the car I am thinking of, it is a '71 dark metallic blue with an RB motor.

I know of Geoff Gale he lives down the road from me in Westbury. He tweaked my engine before Christmas. The blue 240z With the RB belongs to Mike Sheldon, I was with his on Sunday morning. His car an absolute beast.

I’m having my car done by the same person mike went to for his body work off Gloucester Road.

I’m having some welding work down and replacement chassis rails along with a whole list of stuff depending on budget.

The Richard I met had a very clean 240z all standard. I'm very up for castle combe.

I need some bodywork done as well, if anyone knows good fair priced garages in Bristol it would be good to know.

Another one from Bristol, well Bristol originally but living in Gloucester now. Dropped a couple of bits of for Val last Saturday. Nice to meet up with a fellow Z owner! I’ve been looking around for bodyshops as well just for prepping and spraying. I think I’m going to go with a place out towards Torquay call Eccentric Paintworks. I’m hoping to have my car on the road by June so will also be up for Castle Coombe if complete on time!

Its generally solid, mainly need paint work, the worst parts are the bonnet and it has a g-nose kit on the front needs repair.
