New forum - Welcome 350z owners!

It's always good to have new guys hitting the site. There could do with being more 350z owners on here in order to dispel the myth that it's full of old beardy types harping on about nothing in particular. It'll also be cool to have some of the latest cars on here in time for the next Z (currently in testing, I've posted pics before). I saw a pic of a new Z concept the other day (can't remember where). I'll have a look-see at home and shove the pics up.

Hi,

Thanks for the welcome :)

In answer to your questions!! They are Carbon sidemarkers with LED's in them, quite effective at night, dont do much though!! More a bit of external styleee and somethign different. They are from Delsea motorsports in the states.

Nope, No wing.... Its just got the standard rear lip spoiler.. :) Wheels are 19" Volk GT-S. Love em but.... Pain to keep clean in the winter though...

Hi all, new to the forum and new to the 350Z had it 3 weeks, unfortunately not driven it yet (mashed my leg up the day before I was due to pick it up!!) so have only been driven round by the missus so far!!!! Not a new one I'm afraid a 2004 JDM model, no mods so far and only 32,000mls, silver with Brembos and 18s.

Looking forward to some advice (especially on converting the Jap satnav) and banter. Will post some pics when I'm back on my feet.

Cheers

Paul

Welcome Paul!

Nowt wrong with a JDM either!
I know how you feel about not being able to drive - my 350 is a daily driver but I will not be able to drive for 6 weeks as I have done my ankle in and have a pot on!
Can't even hobble to the garage to clean it

Nice car

I like the look of the convertible with the top down but not up.

Does anyone sell a hardtop for the 350Z?

I suppose there would be issue with the soft top mechanism/windows etc.

I believe there is a carbon fibre top in production, not seen one though.

Yes roof down :( not much this year. I assume good weather has been ordered for the fest

Agreed. Looks like a bad toupé. Looks fab as intended though. Perhaps a fully removable hardtop like they have on the mx5 and elise. That would be cool because you could change the shape a little and have a really custom car!

Very handy storage space when the roof is up though. Went to Donny this year and couldnt get the Gazebo thing in a coupe, fitted in the roadster roof storage space though.
