Out of the 350 odd members just under a 1/3 don't have an email address (and therefore we assume no internet access). Amongst them are actually some of the more active members who go on the meets etc and just seem to get a kick out of being part of the club. As Andy mentioned, proportionally it represents a fairly decent cross section (which is far from perfect but decent enough to build a decision on). The seven days thing is also a current test case to see how it pans out. Once we have enough decent data and feedback either confirming or poo-pooing our choices we can re-evaluate. I'll obviously keep all you folk abrest of the situation as and when but for now, that's it chums!

114 Club members with greater than 10 posts have visited the site this year (the reason for 10 posts is it gives a better idea of those actually involved in the club). There were enough votes to get a 'snap-shot' of the general consensus.

Good grief, is that all? I know there's less going on during the winter, but I'd have thought it'd be more than that. Ten posts is about one post per week plus....

At least one here who's participating in the discussion could have voted but didn't, probably more if it had been left longer to run before making the decision but all the same, in the brief time the poll was up, 30% of forum-active paid-up members voted (and 92% of those who actually voted) for some form of delayed visibility !

If anyone has a problem, they should start there own poll with some realistic questions !

It is not a sign that there have only been 80 posts.

As I stated in my first post, when I placed an advert it asks me questions which don't even appear in the advert - like my phone number. I now realise that it doesn't even state a price and just says "best offer" - this is bollocks, I clearly wanted a certain figure for each item. Now it isn't even loading up the photos I added.

ok, I have edited this morning and it has accepted phone number and price.

Reloaded photos, but by doing this it appears to have now recognised the first upload - so the same photo appears twice. I think the image are pending approval, so we'll see what happens.

I'll have a route in the garage again this weekend to see if there is anything else I can sell, then try a fresh advert.

and think they have gone missing
one was from idiots golf and was a wanted add and left that in the open classifieds section and the two others were parts for sales from ben240z and phill240 and i moved them to the members for sale area and they seem to have gone missing as well
