My twin turbo build...

Ask Nissan to put the order in as 'VOR' (Vehicle off Road); following that you could ask them to upgrade the order to 'VIP'.

Mike @ MJP is handling this, I believe he's put it in as VOR from the beginning too. Thanks for the suggestions though

Excellent pics :)

Just a few questions re those V6 engines
How long does it take to remove/replace the o.e water pump ?
Can one head be removed without removing the frt cover and chain gear?

don't think you can remove a haed withot taking off the timing gear mate, although you can remove the heads with the engine in the car although it's a pain

I love powder-coat. Looks superb. Gives everything that 'I'm slightly bigger' feel! This build is getting sexier by the day. Keep it up-ski!

Nearly there.......have to say a lot of modifications were required to get decent clearances, in many many areas...it's tight in our engine bay!!!

This is looking really good. As ever I'm amazed to what lengths some people will go to with their cars. Is this going to be a road car?

road car through and through. I could have gone with TT kits that would give you more HP, but for what? over a certain threshold (some say ~ 500whp) the power is unusable, so what fun is there to have a dyno queen? Choices I guess, I chose a kit that won't give me massive numbers, but the turbos will spool up very quickly and the power/torque will be on tap from very low down.

The 1 compromise I had to do (temporarily, most probably) was the actuator springs. The ones that come with the std PE kit will only be good for ~ 12PSI of boost, I wanted to upgrade those from day 1 but I was sent the wrong ones. So I decided to keep the std springs, and see what numbers it'll put down.

Once ready, I'll run it in for ~1k miles, by then who knows what month it'll be, but I should then have been able to remanufacture an intercooler pipe which was badly designed from the factory, and got hold of a Cosworth Intake manifold. Then the car will be driven to TDI once again for the power tuning, and I'll get them to do a before/after run with the plenum+ spacer and the Cosworth.

500 bhp in a good 350 is going to be soooo frustrating on the road, please take it on a track a couple of times.

My 276 bhp car will do 70 quite easily ;). How bike riders go on I just don't know.
