Also 2" British SU's! is the engine 'tuned' do you know?
Not sure but we think so as it sounds so solid. Has had 10 owners but not a bad thing. 7 days in and we'v nearly stripped the car. Will keep the photo shoot going. It came from John he used to be on here and comes from the Pennines Derby way.

The main bodies look like HS6's or 1 3/4" but the dash pots look more like ones you would see on HS8's (2") but saying that, they're not like any dash pot Ive ever seen pictured before! could perhaps be really early ones or cheap copies from China maybe, if such things exist?!

I was talking about your car ;)

Joking aside, I missed that pint but equally I had never seen those carbs on a z either.

I still do think that is a great project car!!

The ones on the OP's pics look much plumper/chubby if that makes sense, and the black screw caps are a lot bigger, what the hell are they?!

They are a lot like these on a Rover V8 but these are HiF I think with integral float chamber.

After a long day of sanding we need a roof if there are any wonderful people who may know where one is? Thanks
The old one is still on. The car's had an insulting patch put in where they deleted the sun roof .
