Hello Chelle
you have a very very nice looking car there !!!! i can see you have a lot of detail on it.to be honest mine will not look as good as yours,as for progress i have been fitting it up,just been putting ther dash back in today, and mainly stuff that you do not see like changing the suspension and fitting stainless brake and clutch lines, fitting the exhaust and inlet manifold and carbs, chopping out the rear wheel well to fit an alloy fuel tank which still needs fitting, front lights and side lights to fit and wire in.the list goes on .

Here ya go - it's still not complete - but these pics should give ya an idea of how it's shaping up - the pocket on the dash is a removable panel and behind it is hidden a modern stereo :)

Hi Chelle,

Why's your steering wheel on our side of the road? :D I thought you were in the US?

Your motor looks awesome though, I found some videos of it a while ago, sounds as good as it looks!

I am in the US - but liked the RHD setup .. sometimes it's a pain (tollbooths, drive through at bank, etc.. ) but it makes the car just a little more interesting :)

Thanx for the kind words tho .. I need to take some better videos of it as it sounds a lot better now ..
we took some the other day - but they are like 4 Meg each and I didn't plan the shots well..

Awesome Chelle! If you want to email the vids to me I can convert them to something smaller that you can view online if you like :)

Or you can just upload them to www.youtube.com

I think your GTO is one of, if not the best I know of (apart from the real thing that is!) :D

Just to go back to the vanilla sky debate  - it was dark blue, but it sure as hell wasn't the car whose pic was posted a few pages back, lol!

OKay, I finally got around to uploading this stuff.. here's a few videos of the car running and moving around a parking lot. No burnouts or anything crazy, it's just to show how it sounds and prove it moves under it's own power :)

Please right click and select "save as" because the webserver they are on isn't meant to serve video I know they are larger than they need to be but I'm a server admin, not a multimedia guru :)

grolls,

highlight the file name and click the right mouse button. Select "save target as" and click with the left mouse button.

It will ask you where you want to save it, desktop or my documents or wherever you choose.

once saved, go and click on it wherever you saved it and like a normal video it will open up :D easy peasy

I believe there were only 8 or 9 RHD 250GTOs ever built ...... according to the article I read this month in Car Magazine about the classic Ferraris, all the rest were LHD.

Saw a great quote re: GTO's, can't remember where but to paraphrase it:

"Of the 8 or 9 RHD GTO's built, only 67 still survive..." :D
