Those indents behind the rear wheels; on the real cars, aren't they supposed to be open towards the wheels ? Seems odd to have them present if they don't serve a purpose !

And why red ? Nice Moggy-yellow would have worked too.......

...but I think Blue would have been better, like that one in Vanilla Sky

It was black.

I've been waiting days for these images to be approved! Stupid approval system! I'm sure we're all old enough to see some boobies if an idiot decides to abuse the validation system, just remove it.

Anyway, on to the car!

Stunning! Absolutly effing stunning! :) Can't wait to see it in the flesh! I'm guessing the panels aren't in their final place yet, but even still it looks sweet!

How long left then? Drop in an engine, few other bits, make the inside look preedy, get auto glass to drop by... what, three weekends and its all done! :D

Is it going in to hiding during the dark winter, or are you finishing it now ready for the summer?

Lovely stuff! Thanks for the update! :)

That Chell knows a thing or too about tooling on her car, very, Very impressive lady.

Moggy your project looks awesome, silently working hard and making one hell of a nice car. Keep the good work up.

yes yellow would have been nice but its a ferrari and i already have a yellow sports car :D and as for the rear indents i did not want it open as it will get stone chipped to hell in them sections and it is only a kit car at the end of the day but i will either paint in a black section or do it burago style.

you are correct that car 4219 gt is dark blue, when george dyer sr purchased the car in 1964 part of the deal was that it was painted dark blue ,he kept the car for nearly 30 years and even let his son take driving lessons in it !!!!!!!

Will come down to the Strip to see her especially Mike. It will be a great day once she is done and rolling down the pod.

As for the timing out business, I dont know how to cure it but often what i do is just before i hit post I highlight the whole text i have written and copy it and then if it "times out" all i have to do is hit paste and nothing's lost.
