Sorry to see you go.

If only I wasn't saving for a house I'd be tempted myself.

Seeing your car in Classics Monthly (it was owned by Status then) is what inspired me to go out and finally buy a Z of my own. Good luck with your sale. Hope you don't regret it!

Was restored by Graham Bain in Peebles about 9 years ago.
Same guy also restored mine.
Seeing the car in his garage was what turned me on to Zeds in the first place.
The colour in sunlight is beautiful by the way.
And I love the wheels.

Sorry to hear your not keeping the car Mike,
I know its one of the best out there!

So one week in, two local punters to date, but neither came to view, plus one GB inquiry.

Happy to wait ;)

You will get time wasters anywhere Mike, that's why I only put a few things on here now and then to sell ,rest of stuff sells by word of mouth, you will regret selling it,I know I did,it drove so nice for an old datsun

I think BRG should be good enough ;)

But you're absolutely right, anyone who is serious will hop on a plane and eyeball it. I've bought cars from GB, some a lesser prices than this, I flew over, and sometimes walked away again, and other times drove home, even from Southampton to Stranraer to the amazement of the previous owner.

Those of us on the perifery of the U.K. do that, those in the centre seem more reticent to do so.

If you're going to buy a car above £10k, surely a 100 quid flight is a worthwhile investment?

Anyhow, wheels are in motion, so we'll see what happens ;)

100% agreed. People buy cars from the States, having the opportunity to go see this one 'locally' is easy !

Well, I am glad and sad to report that OKJ has returned to the GB and has gone Oop North.

I'll miss the howl of the Straight Six and the superb handling that she delivered.

I'll loiter here for a while, if you all don't mind, the Sean/Status Luv Fest is just too good to miss ;)
