Mike Feeney update

As some of you are aware that Mike has been in and out of hospital over the last two months and this could have delayed some of urgently need parts

He first went into hospital for a hernia op about eight weeks ago they cancelled and sent home as blood pressure too high

After a month called back to hospital for the op that was done and was discharged after a few days

After about 10 days had to go back to hospital by ambulance as an infection had started

Had a second minor op to sort it out and again released from hospital after another few days but this time with the district nurse to attend each day to change dressing

Last Sunday was feeling like shite and got a lift to local emergency GP who said this ain't right and thier is an infection there again and called an ambulance and got him readmitted to hospital for the third time.

Due to staff cuts since he went to hospital the first time (100 staff cut)he was not operated on until yesterday that is six days after he was admitted

Spoke to him yesterday afternoon and he is quite cheerful but bloody bored

He was also quite amused by some of the calls he has had from people asking him for parts (car parts not body parts) and he says to them whoa before you ask about parts I am flat on my back in hospital and one replied "thats a shame but could you still order me so and so as quick as you can) LOL

I have spoken to Mike today . He is still in hospital awaiting further decision from his surgeon/specialist.
He said he was feeling well in himself.
He would also like to find a buyer for his Nissan Navarra truck which is surplus to his requirements. If you know anyone who might be interested than contact ME. I have most of the important data etc about the vehicle.

Poor Mike I hope he gets sorted soon - With all that money he must be making from our constant purchases from MJP perhaps he should think about going private - the NHS is a right mess. Has he always run it on his own - with him not being so well im surprised he hasnt considered getting some help with running MJP.

Best wishes to Mike DJZ 60.:)

It's bad news for Mike and very worrying for the level of the care in hospital. It would save a lot of time, worry and money if they got it right first time.

I realise I don't know the details but it's hardly a good story is it?

Lets hope you are back to fitness soon Mike.

Poor Mike - it can't be much fun can it? And no, it doesn't say much about the state of healthcare in this country.

Fingers crossed for him to be back and fit again as soon as possible.

It's no wonder he kept putting the opperation off is it? Just goes to show how right he was.

Good luck

Good luck Mark.
Don't worry too much, extra stress & tension does'nt help at
the best of times. Take things as they come & when they come & get
plenty of rest. Regards DJZ 60.:)
